Faz Elektrik Motor company started exporting the powerchair motors to West Europe in 1996 after 4 years of continuous R&D. Being aware of the problems of not having a powerchair manufactured in Turkey, the engineering team decided to design and produce Turkeys’ first powerchair. The project won technological achievement prize from the The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in 1998.

Establishing Bornova Electrical Mobility Products Company (BELMO) in 1998, powerchair production started and continued till 2003 when this company was closed and production transferred to Faz Elektrik Motor Company and BELMO remained as a trade mark only.

Since 1998, serving the needs of more disabled people while increasing the product variety every year, durability and reliability of BELMO Powerchairs is proven by many customers all around Turkey.

Defining the customer satisfaction as a priority, the ability of fast technical service, custom manufacturing and economic spare parts differentiates BELMO from competitors and makes the most selling powerchair brand in Turkey.

Faz considers BELMO as a social responsibility project and therefore continuously work on new product development, hence widening product range.
